Gonna be a wild year, no doubt!

Your analysis is on target. You are not including God in your understanding of what to expect. I believe God is with us. God provides. Praise God. Amen.

A reckoning comes. It won't look the way people expect. But when it happens it will be clear that it is from God. And nothing will ever be the same.

I suspect it’s gonna take insurrection.

I would dispute that China is the world's number one, but that's beside my main point. You point out China's Achilles heel yourself: their prosperity depends on selling overseas. There is nothing made in China that we cannot do without or source elsewhere, but the rest of the world cannot buy what the US leaves on China's shelves. China has more ships and can build them faster, but they cannot reach beyond the Western Pacific in any significant force.

The election may bring more unrest, but I doubt that it will bring insurrection, revolt, or revolution, even in the event of clear tampering. People tend to forget how peaceful December 2020 and the actual exchange of power (the inauguration) were.

I realize that the above comment is mostly disagreeing, so I wanted to add that I agree with much that you wrote. America's furor is misdirected? Yes. Electing a new president won't solve the root issues? Yes. It's time for major revisions to the government? Yes. The military is underfunded, and we can't build ships? Yes. Some storm is coming? Yes.

I hope you're wrong but sadly I think it will play out like this: Trump wins; the current administration uses the riots that ensue as an excuse to lock down DC. They suspend the Congress "for their safety" so the electoral vote is never certified. Biden tries to remain in office. Where does it go from there? I guess we'll see.

I see a different scenario. Trump wins but the vote is corrupted as before, even less believably. I also consider it possible some sort of “emergency” is declared by the UN so that they assume power, prior to the election. I believe the result will be the same.
