Is this an expansion/revision of a previous work of yours? Also, I've probably asked this, but have you read Canticle for Liebowitz? It's one of my absolute favorite books, and I think it may be right up your alley
Much of what I’ve posted was written ten years ago. This would be included; that said, “AI” has not yet been achieved, no matter what they claim. There are no sentient machines, especially, “large language models,” and certainly nothing that would fit within the skull of a humanoid robot. When one arises it will be an earthshaking event.
