Why I Won't Click on Facebook Links
At all. Not ever, ever.
Think that’s something? I didn’t click on a Facebook link, but a week ago I clicked on one that was disguised as something else. Clicking away from it is no good, they follow you anyway. I have a personal bone to pick with Facebook’s founder, because he’s done his damnedest to make my life as a conservative miserable, while he sits on his fattening ass and his billions, while he tries to sell information about me.
Years ago I still had Windows for an operating system. Now that I’m using Linux, I do miss one program called Port Monster. It would list every IP address connected to my computer and better yet, I waa able to block those ports. 99 percent of them were Facebook, and I didn’t have a Facebook account.
Nearly every one of these trackers comes from Facebook, and I have carefully stayed clear of everything “Meta.”
You see I’m an old guy, and my parents passed away. It happens. To avoid having a public auction, I simply purchased all of the household contents from the estate. All of that stuff is doing time in my upstairs. Some of it has value.
But because they could, Facebook initiated “Marketplace.” That passed my breaking point, because they’ve successfully put Craigslist in the tank and have harnessed all of the local online sales forums as well. One click for each and your item could be listed in hundreds of places in a matter of minutes. So, I signed up at last, in order to use Marketplace.
Their AI, I suppose, decided my binoculars that I posted was “a weapon,” and immediately after that it sent me hundreds of “similar items,” binoculars, that had been successfully posted for sale. Some weeks later I received a notice that I would no longer be able to access Marketplace, the only thing I was there for.
Well dickhead, have your way. With your billions I am sure you will anyway. I truly wish you had gone up against Elon, because I’d have found the money somewhere for a pay-per-view just to watch him clean your clock.

Yeah Facebook and Google are really evil companies. We'd better off without either.
