What About Purview?

Somewhere in this piece is a serious issue, one of our range of knowledge, and of authority.

The average citizen seems to have little of it. This is an observed fact, and the corporate-led powers that are planning totalitarian control of the world’s population are depending on it.

From my aged perspective, freedom and liberty have taken a very serious hit, within my lifetime. Examples, everywhere…

The Disney corporation used to make cartoons, I mean, real cartoons that made us laugh. They made movies dramatizing American history. Now they set the stage for “diversity, equity and inclusion.” And, they are just one of very, very many.

Decade after decade has passed, with our Congress kicking the federal debt and deficit can, down the road. Oh sure, Clinton settled that, by taxing Social Security. With Biden’s help. Now we’re right back where it started, and it is, so much worse.

The Federal Reserve has been wracked by ethics questions; central bankers trading on their actions, before they take them. As if they were even needed.

“Intelligence agencies” now form that shadow government of which so many deny the existence. You know, the FBI? The DIA? The CIA? The NSA? While some people are spazzing out about the conservative majority in the Supreme Court, who worries about the leadership of these organizations, and other, lesser-known organizations like them? Why is so little being reported about their activities? Could it be, fear?

You bet it is.

This is freedom?

It used to be, far back in my memories, that kids could walk a half-mile to elementary school, unaccompanied. I did, and thought nothing of it. First grade, second, third, and so on. Now parents wait with their kids at bus stops, because who knows who or what might be out there? It seems like the right thing to do. This is to say nothing of the worries for our children while they are at school, and I’m not even talking about the crap they’re being taught.

So, all of these decades into the future, we learn that elections have always been manipulated. That the burgeoning “intelligence community” was always active, and manipulating. That our leaders (specifically, Clinton) actually sold nuclear and missile technology to the Chinese.

Now, please tell me. Is this what the founding fathers intended? For our local and state police forces to be reviled by the public? For our free press to be bought up by corporate interests, and manipulated? For us to be afraid to walk the streets, unarmed? For our elections, and government for, of and by the people, to be stolen from us?

And, what are we now to do about it?

Enter, “purview.”

“Purview” is defined as “the extent or range of activity, function, power, or competence; scope. Range of understanding or experience.”

And, who among us has the purview to replace that which has run afoul of the founding fathers’ intent?

The President?

The Congress?

You?

All of these things seem to fail. Of course the purview exists, and it exists in many places at once. But, some piece of it is lacking, in every instance, because those actually in power, bolstered by corporate money, have themselves in mind. Not, you.

So the missing component is power.

I submit to you that there will be some degree of conflict. How much, I have no idea. The success of it, I have no idea. However the future freedoms to be experienced by all of those who follow us in this world, will be determined by it.

Seriously.

Get ready.
